Show Notes

Elder Joe Stout preaches from Hebrews 13 on being thankful for our Protestant heritage while also exhorting the congregation to protect itself against common errors made by modern American evangelicalism. In this sermon are covered four areas of the Christian faith that should either be recovered by churches or continued in faithfully.

1.) The worship of God in fear and awe

2.) Remembering the Sabbath day and keeping it holy

3.) Devoting oneself to a local church body by submitting to the elders authority

4.) Guarding one's heart against strange doctrine
